General Policy

  • As goats are herd animals, we reserve the right to refuse sale to a single goat home unless you are purchasing two from us or show proof that you will be acquiring another goat from another farm.
  • A non-refundable deposit of half the sales price is required to hold a goat. If sickness or injury occurs for any reason after the deposit is made, while the animal is still on our farm, the deposit will be refunded in full or you may have the option to use the deposit on another available animal.
  • If the buyer backs out, changes their mind, or cannot complete the sale at any time after the deposit is made, no refund of deposit will be issued.
  • The remaining balance of the sale is due upon pick-up. No goat will leave our farm without the full amount paid. If the agreed upon date is missed by the buyer, an additional $5 per day “care and feed” fee will be added to the price of the animal and due upon pick-up. If the animal remains with us 30 days past the agreed upon pickup date, the deposit will be forfeited and the goat will remain in our care.
